I know, I know, I haven't posted for almost two weeks, and now this post is three days late. Forgive me? Anyway, here's what this month has in store:
- soaking up the end of summer while also anticipating the beginning of fall, my absolute favorite season
- starting school again on the 19th
- camping with the family and cousins
- the fair

Oh, Hey July!

I can hardly believe that it's July already! This Summer has really been flying by. Here's some of what I'm looking forward to this month:
- Taking my best friend out to lunch for her birthday
- Going on vacation with my aunts, uncles and cousins for almost a week
- Fresh watermelon (at last)
- Lazy days to just read and drink iced tea
- Going to an amusement park with my cousins and The Boy

Oh, Hey June!

It's hard to believe that the calendar has flipped again. It seems like just last week I was typing up my "Hey, May" post but yet, it's June already. I know that this Summer is going to just fly by. Here's some of what this month holds for me:
- I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, but I went to prom with the boy. And it was great.
- Camping weekend with my family and church family (it's an annual thing. I'll be sure to post stories+pictures when we get back.)
- Swimming with my best friend (she has an in-ground pool at her house, and let's say I'm just a little bit jealous)
- Just enjoying the beginning of summer (and hoping it doesn't get too hot or humid)

Oh, Hey May!

I know, I know. It's already the 3rd. Time just flies by so quickly! Anyway, here's a small sampling of what I'm looking forward to this month:

- Warmer weather at last ♥
- Finals (next week... gulp) and after that, freshman year take two is officially over! And I'll never have to be a freshman again.
- A trip to an amusement park with some of the greatest people I know
- The Boy's birthday! Now if only I knew what to get him...
- Spending lots of glorious time doing absolutely nothing

Oh, Hey April!

I'm so glad that it's finally April. I'm more than ready. Here's what I'm looking forward to this month:
- spring weather
- my last full month of classes (!) It's so hard to believe that my first year of college is already coming to an end. I have to say that I'm not exactly sad for it to be over.
- lots and lots of school work (end of the semester projects and essays and general ickiness)
- walking in the woods with the boy

Honestly, not much worth mentioning is happening this month, sad to say. This month I suppose I will be looking for the little things.

This month....
-out to eat and adventure with the bests
-Spring! I'm oh-so-ready for a change in the season.
-spring break; a week off college :)
-spending more time with him
-ready for the stress of mid-term assignments to be over

Oh, Hey February!

Well, it's that time of year again. February is always when I start to get the blahs. It always feels like winter has overstayed its welcome, and there are just enough of warm days to tantalize me. It makes me yearn for spring. Here's some of what this month holds:
-Watching the Super Bowl on Sunday with some friends and a certain someone (but more on that later)
-Doing my observations in a preschool and an elementary school for my Arts and Play class. Little kids never fail to make me smile.
-A few warm days (hopefully) (and by warm, I mean above freezing. 40s would be nice.)
-Finishing up the Percy Jackson books
-More adventures with my friends (always)

Here's what this month holds for me:

-Going to the PA Farm Show, basically like a really big indoor fair complete with the best milkshakes on earth (and animals of course)
-Starting the second semester of my Freshman year
-journaling
-hopefully spending more time with my bestfriend
-snuggling in blankets and reading Percy Jackson

Oh, Hey December!

Some things I'm looking forward to this month:
- A Wal-Mart scavenger hunt with the work crew
- Christmas Banquet with the work crew
- Christmas break (a month off of college starting December 14th. I'm unbelievably excited.)
- Hot tea on cold mornings
- Sleepovers with the best
- Christmas morning cinnamon rolls
- Christmas dinner at my Grandparents' with my cousins, aunts and uncles

 Some things I'm looking forward to this month:
- Thanksgiving: we always go to my Grandparents' house with all of my cousins, eat too much food and have too much fun (If such a thing is possible.)
- The Christmas season is soon starting! It's one of my favorite times of the year.
- Drinking hot tea while I do my homework
- I'd thought about doing NaNoWriMo, but I've decided against that. 50,000 words is a lot, and I'm so busy with school and such. Instead, I'm just going to write, without a goal, just for fun, to see how much I could actually write in a month. Maybe next year?

Oh, Hey October.

I know, I already posted once today, but tomorrow promises to be hectic (as Mondays always are) and I like to do the month intro posts as close to the first day as possible. So, you'll have to excuse my faux pas. Here's what October promises:

- My birthday!! (of course, it's only at the end of the month, but I'm anticipating it already. Why does 19 sound like such a big change from 18?)
- Autumn is going to be in full swing, and I couldn't be happier
- Finding Nemo 3D and bowling with some of the best people in the world
- Pumpkin flavored everything!
- Scheduling for next semester (Honestly, I am just ready for the current semester to be over!)

This month is not quite so exciting as the summer months, but there are still some things I'm looking forward to:

- Getting into the school routine
- Cooler nights
- Hot tea in the evenings
- Comfy sweatshirts

- Leaves beginning to change color
- The official (calendar) start of fall
